Drug Addiction

How Dallas LastRehab can Turn Around Drug Addiction

Drug addiction can wreak havoc on the lives of addicts and their families. If you’re ready to help a loved one with a drug or alcohol addiction, you should know that there are many different factors of addiction. For example, certain drugs have a completely opposite effect on the body than other drugs which must be taken into account during treatment. At LastRehab, we understand the various types of drugs and know how to help people suffering from addiction turn their lives around.

Many Types of Drugs

Not all addicted people use illegal drugs; there are many people who become addicted to medications. For instance, alcohol is legal, but for some people, it can lead to a destructive lifestyle that affects everyone around them. There are prescription drugs, such as painkillers, psych drugs, Oxycodone and opiates that can easily become an addiction for many. Street drugs, such as Cocaine, other stimulants, Marijuana, Ecstasy, Mescaline, LSD and Heroin can cause serious addictions that must be treated with care.

How Dallas LastRehab Works

Once a student has been admitted into a Dallas rehab program, they will meet with an intake specialist and have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. The program will be described to them in great detail and they will be evaluated both mentally and medically by highly trained staff members. We understand that a soothing environment puts students at ease and makes them feel as if they are able to take control of their addiction.

Next, the student will enter detox. The detox program is designed to address the physical and emotional needs of the student. They will immediately be placed on a vitamin regimen and begin a healthy diet designed to help detoxify their body. Natural detox programs are better for the overall health of the student; however, medications will be provided, if necessary. These medications will be administered by an MD addictionologist, though the student will be gradually taken off of them as their body begins the healing process. The detox stage can last from 4-10 days.

Once the student is stabilized and no longer physically dependent on drugs, they will begin the main phases of the Dallas addiction treatment program. There, the student will begin the healing process which will affect the rest of their lives. The student will do coursework to help them to identify their life issues and any relapse triggers that they need to overcome. The entire time, they will work with a dedicated Case Manager who will help them with current problems of their outside life so that they can concentrate of what’s most important their progress through the rehabilitation process.

After a student has completed a Dallas rehabilitation program, they will attend a ceremony where they’ll receive a certificate of completion. The graduation ceremony is designed to celebrate the student’s achievements in the program and marks the beginning of a new life. Call us now to start a new drug-free life.

Everyone needs help at one time or another. My sister’s inability to ask for help is what caused her addiction to drag on for 5 long years. The moment she asked for help, our lives changed.
